16th June 2000
Set off to marseille after our breakfast.
bel fell down the stairs as she missed
a step.
I guess she has hurt her ankle then.
She has swollen ankles for the next 2 days.
We caught the 10-1am train and we
reached Marseille at 11am
we tried to look for an immediate
train to leave
but the information counter was
packed with people.
Even going in, the security has to
check my bag.
CY and I went looking for a baggage
section.
The baaggage section is heavily
guarded with secruity.
And call 30 fr to use a locker.
To use the locker for 1 1.2 hr is
really not worth it.
Thus, we guarded our own stuffs
and had lunch. (before finding the baggage section) I walked around at
the train station , saw a wounded man blood covered his face.
I found the tourism board and also
the street with food available.
And the scenery outside the station
is really beautiful. (Compared to the pass few days.)
I took a picture and I hope it turn
out fine.
We had a kerbarb sandwich for lunch
and ky had a huge pizza set 35 fr
( with frites and drink)
CY and LY paid about the same prize
for something less.
12 noon
We left for nice
reached nice
map of nice
pink trail. where we've walked.
we looked for the baggaged compartment
in the station before we left to walk around
(Antibus and Cannes are fantastic,
the rivera have very nice beach as people go topless!)
in nice, I walk around and took
a picture at the topless beach.
Near the topless beach
Took a picture from the center of
the city.
Nice is not as ulu as I thought.
It is bustling with activiies and
is definetly it looks good.
It have houses built on hills.
Bel say that they look like house
in HK.
Later we had chinese dishes at "chinese
fastfood: tasted ok ok but expensive.
( I bought 4 lavendar sachets for
the k-gang)
that night, we took the night train
to roma.
it is quite and experience sleeping
in a couttette.,.
well, see my picture if it turns
out well..
One of the train staff opened our
couteet and teach us how to lock the door.
We used disposable bedsheets.
he safe keep our passport for our
journey.
