Today's trip I had made a change. Instead of running down to lugano, we all headed to lucern and zurich for tour. One reason is to buy something for my mum and another would be the long journey time on the rail.(3 hr each way) In the hostel that morning we went down to thaiairway's office in zurich to confirm our flight and turned out that it do not need to further confirm. CY wish to stay for an additional day and I'm sure LY would haveto do the same. I decided to go home as I donlt wish to delay my business at home ( regarding army and my honur studies) I and bel would fly back to sinagpore the next day

In Lucern

The trip to lucern is a quick one, after we bought stamps from a local postmat/diepost. We headed to wein and we cross the bridge to look for the dying lion monument. (though we missed it at first) Right Top: Me, at the bridge  Right Center: River, Lake, Sea? Erm.. Right Bottom:  A view of the street in Lucern. Where is the direction to the lion monument anyway.. Returning To Zurich
 
 

We left for Zurich after we had a quick stroll in its shopping area. The journey was relatively fast. Zurich is a city beside a lake. Right: A picture inside the Rail. Right Bottom: scenery outside the rail. Bottom: Inside the rail station.

 

This city is buzier than the other I visited so far. Right Top and right : clock Tower, church. I actually forgot where I was. (Lemme see.. I was there in June 2000 and I am trying to remember where was I in Feb 2001. ...... ) i think we shall look at the next picture instead.... Bottom Right. me and Bel outside the rail station. (hahnof bahn -whatever) Bottom is a street view from the the rail station.   I was quite frustrated when I can't find fish and chip or suitable present for mum.

Bel and I had a wonderful rosti meal at rostibar.  Later we visited a pier. (at Zurichsee ) After that, we headed back to hotel. I was not prepared to see CY and LY in the room. I thought they wanted to say in Lucern till 5pm++ . I and bel headed down to canteen to eat prawn salad, peach and milk that I bought in the supermarket. That night, I packed and ready to go off.
